Wes-Tech can combine the expertise in material handling, robotics, inspection, data collection, assembly and test processes to create complete, fully-automatic systems, lean manual systems or turn-key systems to support the manufacturing of finished products or sub-assemblies.

Calling upon our extensive experience in multiple industries, and working with our customer’s internal experts, we can deliver robust, reliable systems to manufacture a broad spectrum of products.


We have extensive experience interfacing with CNC machining centers, lathes, automatic broaches, die-casting equipment, heat treatment equipment, and other complex machining and part-production equipment.


We have also designed and built many assembly and test systems to combine these basic parts into finished, tested and ready-to-use assemblies. These assemblies have ranged from sub-assemblies for larger products to finished products, ready for final use.


An essential part of these systems is the control function; therefore, Wes-Tech has a fully-staffed, in-house Controls Engineering department that builds and wires our control cabinets and wire all our operational stations and systems. Our Controls Engineers create the complete control system hardware design, electrical schematics, PLC control code, data collection and HMI screen displays.


Wes-Tech’s Controls Engineers can work with any of the major brands of PLCs, with extensive experience and expertise with Allen-Bradley and Siemens families of components. We have experience with many different communication architectures, including Device-Net, Profi-Net, Profi-Bus, Profi-Safe, ASI, ASI-Safe and Ethernet-IP.


The focus of our controls effort is to create robust, easy-to-use, easy-to-support systems. We include back-checks and Poke-Yokes in all our equipment to ensure that error conditions are anticipated and avoided.


Wes-Tech has a strong history in data capture and reporting. We have created self-contained data collection systems. We have also supported various central data-collection systems in our customer’s facilities.


UL, CSA and/or CE standards are applied and tested as needed for any specific system.
